The Canada Science and Technology Museum Foundation invites you to the third annual SCIENCE AND TECH SOIRÉE on Thursday, April 19, 2012. Soiree funds will support youth at the museum, with part of the proceeds directed to improvements of the Demo Stage.

Why the Soirée Matters

The Science and Tech Soirée is designed to foster a personal commitment to the Canada Science and Technology Museum, while attracting new funds for Museum programs. This "relaxed gala" evening encourages individuals and organizations to become involved as stakeholders and supporters, extending the Museum's reach and building momentum for this important institution. All funds raised by the Science and Tech Soirée will be used to support youth education and promote science literacy.

It is essential that Canada's youth develop an appreciation for the role that science and technology have played in shaping today's world, which will in turn help them to anticipate the impact of science and technology on our future lives. It is vitally important that our youth feel pride in what has been achieved, that they are inspired by what humanity has accomplished, and that they are excited at the prospect of participating fully in our future and transforming the world in which we live.
