Explore the wonders of the night sky in the Museum’s inflatable Planetarium. Special focus on the legends that inspired the names of some of the stars and constellations. Sign-up at the planetarium.

Celebrate great Canadian innovator, Helen Sawyer Hogg. Learn about the history of the Helen Sawyer Hogg Observatory and have an up close look at the impressive 15 inch refracting telescope.

Citizenship Ceremony

New Canadians take the Oath of Citizenship in this special ceremony. At this time, Canadian citizens may also reaffirm their pledge to their country.
Music to Your Ears

The Wandering Minstrels will fill the Museum with entrancing music during this celebration of Canada.

Walk in some of the greatest Canadians’ footsteps. Connect with the telephone, get smart about snowmobiles, and experiment with an innovative antenna.
