Looking at Light
Information for Teachers
Reserve for the Museum's program "Looking at Light" where your students will learn how light is produced and transmitted as they experiment with different materials to study light reflection, refraction and absorption. Special filters are used to explore the world of colour. Ultraviolet light, lasers and fibre optics are also examined. Optical devices such as periscopes, microscopes and telescopes are shown to illustrate the behavior of light.
