During Your Visit

In this programme, your students will explore the changes in homes and housework from the 1850s until the present, with a concluding glimpse of a home of the future. They will see how household gadgets and appliances have developed; and how this affects household tasks today. During the presentation, the students will actively participate in a demonstration of the history of laundry from the washboard to electrical washing machines.
