During Your Visit
What is energy? Where does it come from? In this program, students will explore various sources of energy. Simple demonstrations will explain the difference between potential and kinetic energy. Examples of different forms of energy, such as electrical, light, chemical and thermal energy, will be presented. Students will also be guided to search for energy transformations in the artifacts on display in the Museum, following an introduction to this concept.
