Build a model of Space Station Freedom using toothpicks, egg cartons, cardboard tubes, white glue and lots of imagination.

Include:

• the solar arrays, (to power the station)
• the living and working modules
• the solar radiators, (to control the temperature of the living and working modules).
• the remote manipulator arm(s), (to build, repair and remodel the station, and dock any passing spacecraft)

What problems might an astronaut encounter on the space station? Which would bother you the most? Why?
