Free Electronic Recycling Drop Off at the Canada Science and Technology Museum

On Saturday May 15, 2010, the Canada Science and Technology Museum will be providing a free electronic waste and car battery recycling drop off service. This event is part of the Museum’s environmental program and will help keep electronic waste out of the landfills.

While you are at the drop off tour the Museum and discover how easy it is to be eco-friendly. The CAA will be at the event to launch their Eighth Annual Great Battery Roundup and to test your current battery, The Electric Vehicle Council of Ottawa will display a range of electric and human powered vehicles and you will be able to enjoy the radical rhythms by the Junkyard Symphony.

Only electronic items approved by the Ontario Electronic Stewardship program will be accepted. Drop off is on Saturday May 15 between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. only.
