Black History Month at the Canada Science and Technology Museum

Ottawa, Ontario, February 9, 2007 - during Black History Month, the Canada Science and Technology Museum invites the public to celebrate African-Canadian inventors and innovators.

Visit the International African Inventors display to learn about some amazing discoveries, meet special guests, and participate in various presentations that are sure to be inspirational.

Black History Month

February 17 and 18, 2007
Weekend activities are presented from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
All activities are included with regular admission fees.

The Canada Science and Technology Museum’s events and exhibitions provide an overview of Canada’s rich scientific and technological heritage. The Museum is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Tuesday to Sunday. Admission for adults is $6; $3 for children (ages 4-14); $5 for students and seniors; $14 for a family (2 adults and 3 children); free for children under 4. The Canada Science and Technology Museum is located at 1867 St.Laurent Boulevard and offers free parking on-site.
