Guess what? : Science & Tech Soirée is back for a good cause
OTTAWA, April 5, 2012 – It has now become one of Ottawa's most popular social events : the third edition of the Science & Tech soirée of the Canada Science and Technology Museum Foundation will take place on Thursday, April 19, 2012, from 6 p.m.
Funds collected through this evening's fine dining experience in an exceptional setting will, once more, be used to offer youths who might otherwise not have the opportunity a chance to take part in the Canada Museum of Science and Technology's various programs, and to discover all the possibilities the world of science and technology can offer them.
The evening's theme is "The Magic of the Museum". The evening's entertainment will see curators challenging guests to guess what certain bizarre artefacts were used for. Cocktails straight out of the Museum's Crazy Kitchen, as well as colourful and explosive scientific demonstrations are also on the menu.
