Who am I? The Quest for Myself travelling exhibition now open at the Canada Science and Technology Museum
Who am I? The Quest for Myself encourages teenagers to undertake a quest that will help them understand who they are. Whether a person is kind, solitary or a tease, there’s an explanation for each characteristic! As they go through the exhibition, visitors can switch personalities on a theatre stage and enter a giant brain in search of what influence genetics and life experiences have on them. The machine room enables them to become aware of the role self-esteem plays in our personal development. Is physical beauty one of the social pressures affecting our individual sense of self-esteem?
At the end of their quest, participants have access to a portrait of themselves featuring their personality traits, which can be consulted on the Internet when they return home. Younger children will pursue their own quest led by the Smurfs. It will be smurfingly fun!
Who am I? The Quest for Myself was produced by the Musée de la nature et des sciences de Sherbrooke, and presented by
The Dove Self-Esteem Fund.
