Message from the CEO
The Management and staff of the Canada Science and Technology Museums Corporation regret the closure of the Canada Science and Technology Museum due to the discovery of airborne mould on Thursday, September 11, 2014.
This decision reflects that the health, safety and well-being of Museum visitors, staff and stakeholders are the top priority of the Corporation and the Government of Canada.
As of this moment, the situation is being assessed and it is too early to predict when the Museum will reopen. We are committed to keeping you informed of developments and progress as they are made. Updates will appear regularly on this website.
In the last 24 hours, the Museum has received many telephone calls and emails from concerned individuals and organizations asking how they can help. For those wishing to help, donations can be made on the Museum's Foundation's website by clicking here. Another way of expressing your support would be by visiting the Canada Agriculture and Food Museum or the Canada Aviation and Space Museum.
I would like to personally thank you for your support for the CSTM.
