Esteban Solar Car on Public Display at the Canada Science and Technology Museum

The Esteban V solar car will be on display at the Canada Science and Technology Museum from August 3 to September 12, 2010.

This solar race car was built by students at the École Polytechnique de Montréal. It most recently raced in the 2009 Global Green Challenge in Australia.

Experimental vehicles like the Esteban V are part of a global movement of solar-car competitions. These events challenge engineers and designers to experiment and develop innovative technologies that may have applications in the future.
