Celebrate the Winter Solstice at the
Canada Science and Technology Museum

Celebrate the shortest day of the year with indoor and outdoor activities that the whole family will enjoy. Take a sleigh ride through the Museum grounds, marvel at Mini-Cirque as they juggle with light, and discover the winter sky in the inflatable planetarium.

When: Friday, December 21, 2007
10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Mini-Cirque performances between 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.

In the evening, try your hand at stargazing at a free Star Party. Let Museum staff guide you through the night skies. Weather permitting, visitors will be able to see the moon, the planet Mars, and Comet Holmes through Canada’s largest refracting telescope.

The Canada Science and Technology Museum is celebrating its 40th anniversary of collecting and sharing Canada’s rich scientific and technological heritage. The Museum is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. during the holidays except for December 25. Admission is $6; $3 for children (ages 4-14); $5 for students and seniors; $14 for a family (2 adults and 3 children); children under 4 are free.
