This holiday season, toys have taken over the Canada Science and Technology Museum for a fun-filled holiday program. Use tops and hula hoops to learn about the laws of physics, or explore the differences between early board games and their modern day counterparts.
Daily activities include:
A vehicle design challenge using K’Nex® building toys: test your creations on the track
Try puzzles, brain-teasers and games, then discover some of the science behind them
Discover robotics with ingenious robots and remote-control toys, and meet Pixel, a robot with personality
Search the Museum for mystery artifacts and mark them off your bingo sheet
Experience the difference between classic video games and the newest games and game platforms
Explore the laws of physics with tops, yo-yos and hula hoops
Wander down memory lane with toys and games from the Museum’s collection
The Canada Science and Technology Museum is celebrating its 40th anniversary of collecting and sharing Canada’s rich scientific and technological heritage. The Museum is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. during the holidays except for December 25. Admission is $6; $3 for children (ages 4-14); $5 for students and seniors; $14 for a family (2 adults and 3 children); children under 4 are free.
