Surprising comet brightens the skies – and interest at the Canada Science and Technology Museum

The Canada Science and Technology Museum invites the public to view Comet Holmes, the unusual comet that is now visible to the naked eye. Museum educators will be on hand for this FREE observing experience.

When: Wednesday, November 7, 2007 to Thursday, November 8, 2007 from 7:30 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Where: Helen Sawyer Hogg observatory

Canada Science and Technology Museum
1867 St Laurent Blvd

No registration necessary. Outdoor conditions: dress warmly. Observing is possible only if the sky is predominantly clear.

The Canada Science and Technology Museum offers astronomy mini-courses, stargazing evenings, and family astronomy and space workshops.
